OTECHOS at ONS 2026 – part of the Innovation Park
OTECHOS will participate at ONS 2026 as part of the Innovation Park, organized by the Research Council of Norway. Here, selected companies are showcased to an international professional audience.
ONS is one of the world’s leading meeting places for the energy industry, and the Innovation Park has established itself as a natural hub for new technology and fresh ideas. It is a space where agile, forward-thinking companies connect with investors, industry partners, and decision-makers.
Through this platform, we have the opportunity to highlight both our solutions and how research and innovation support schemes help bring new technology to market.
At ONS, OTECHOS will present the Downhole Centric Reciprocating Pump (dCRP) — a new pump technology designed to improve production efficiency in oil and gas fields.
The technology is being developed in collaboration with Aker BP ASA through a project supported by public funding of NOK 19.7 million.
The project addresses a challenge highlighted by several actors in the energy industry:
finding efficient alternatives to gas lift systems in mature fields.
The dCRP technology is designed to contribute to:
increased production in mature fields
lower operating costs
higher uptime
electrification of production solutions
reduced reliance on conventional gas lift systems
The technology may also enable more efficient handling of multiphase flows and contribute to increased oil recovery from existing fields.
